I have 9 Clean Eating grill recipes for you to try out. It was actually a little hard for me to decide exactly what to include in this post. All of these are cooked on the grill, some in foil, except for number one. It is such a great recipe I just had to include it.
OK. Who else here is crazy like my husband and you go out on the deck, back patio, etc. in the middle of the freezing cold winter? My husband does. We like grilling too much to only eat it during the warm months, especially now that my husband has a Traeger smoker grill. We’ve had it for a few years and we’re totally in love with it. Now we’re spoiled and don’t like gas grills because they make food taste like propane.

This is an awesome generic barbeque sauce recipe that can be used for all kinds of different meals. My favorite ways to use it are on sloppy joes, pulled pork and ribs. I also like on hamburgers, smoked meat and chicken nuggets. It can replace ketchup too. Just use it any way you always used to used BBQ sauce in a bottle. This doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup either, so it’s more healthy for anyone.

Once you make this lemon butter sauce you will want to make it every night and put it on almost everything you prepare. It’s nice enough to make for company but it’s also easy enough to make on a week night. Mahi Mahi is a good fish to grill because it is firm enough to not fall apart on the grill. It doesn’t have a very fishy taste so if you know someone that doesn’t love fish for that reason, make it for them and they’ll change their mind.
3. Teriyaki Chicken Skewers – My Natural Family
This teriyaki sauce is not sweetened with sugar, it’s sweetened with dates and a little bit of honey. All good wholesome natural ingredients that are so much more healthy than sugar. Once it’s pureed, the sweet onion and dates also help to thicken the sauce. That way you don’t need a thickening agent.
4. 30 Minute Red Pepper and Garlic Butter Foil-Grilled Salmon – My Natural Family
Salmon – Red Bell Pepper – Lemon – Honey
If you want to impress your guests and still have a really easy meal to prepare this is the recipe for you. It only takes half an hour to prepare AND it’s really healthy. The sauce with herbs and red peppers are really good on this because salmon has a bit of a stronger flavor than other fish and this sauce balances out the flavors. This salmon is really good served over a bed of arugula with a little salt and lemon juice instead of dressing. Healthy all around.
5. Skinny Honey Dijon Balsamic Pork Loin Chop Recipe – Gluten-Free Daddy
This really is the best pork loin chop recipe I’ve ever eaten or ever made. It’s really quick and easy to make on the grill indoors or outdoors. The marinade makes the pork tender and juicy. My 9 year old daughter begs to have it for dinner almost every night. It is a hit at our house.
6. Paleo Fajitas Recipe with Grilled Steak and Chimichurri Sauce – My Natural Family
These fajitas are actually really easy to make. All you do is marinade the meat and veggies, that only takes an hour. You can do anything you want while it’s marinating. Then you cook them all on the BBQ grill. Included is the best chimichurri sauce recipe and the best Paleo tortilla recipe.
7. Peri Peri Marinated Chicken Skewers – African Bites
These BBQ chicken skewers are marinated in a sauce that is made with spicy peppers, basil, lime, garlic and oregano. They are a really nice option for entertaining. You can make them the night before and let them marinate until you’re ready to cook them on the grill.

I don’t usually like onions but I really like these onions and zucchini, peppers and mushroom when they are marinated in this marinade sauce. They were so flavorful and juicy. I usually make a double recipe for the marinade and then I marinade some chicken to go with these veggies and grill them all at the same time.

I think these should be called easy peasy cheesy potatoes. They are cooked in tin foil on the grill which makes them very tender and gives them time for all of the flavor to blend together. I love to cook in foil because clean up is so easy. Just throw that foil away baby! I love using my grill because I don’t have to heat up my kitchen with the oven when it’s so hot outside.
