This Clean Eating breakfast cake makes a perfect brunch and has a simple cinnamon-spiced cake topped with cinnamon sugar oats.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and grease a 8×8 baking dish.
  2. Sift together all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add in the wet ingredients and mix well (it will be a lot drier than a traditional cake batter).
  4. Pour the batter into the greased 8×8 baking dish.
  5. Use the same bowl and mix together the ingredients for the topping until a rough crumb mixture is formed.
  6. Sprinkle the topping over the batter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
