We try to eat clean at our house and I’ve had a hard time finding clean eating Easter recipes, I finally found 12 clean eating Easter Recipes that I think are great to share with you.
We have an Easter party at Grandma’s house every year and I’m going to share some of these recipe ideas with her. For Grandma’s Easter parties we always have an egg hunt, play games and eat real healthy treats. That means we usually have a little ham sandwich, deviled eggs of some sort, carrot sticks with dip but not much candy or dessert. Last year Grandma made rice krispy treats, with food coloring in the marshmallows in the shape of eggs. Grandma was pretty smart, she made the rice krispy treats and then put it inside of larger size plastic Easter eggs. That made it really easy to make the eggs into a perfect egg shape plus they were all the same size. The grand kids loved it.
In my opinion it wouldn’t be Easter without carrot cake and candy. Check out all of the chocolate Easter egg recipes I have here.
Don’t forget the rabbit food, that is what my aunt calls fresh vegetables like carrots sticks, celery sticks and green peas, They make great veggies for Easter brunch or lunch.

These cheesy potatoes are made with real potatoes. Where I live they are known as funeral potatoes. That’s because whenever there is a funeral all the neighbors get together and make a meal for the family after the funeral. We serve these potatoes because they are easy to make ahead of time and cook just before the meal. Another reason is that they go really well with baked ham and we often serve baked ham for the funeral also. Truth be known at our house growing up we ate them for a lot of different special occasions, especially when we had ham. Ham and cheesy potatoes was my brothers favorite meal so we had it quite often, usually on a Sunday afternoon. That’s because Mom had more time to cook on Sundays so she make nicer meals then.

Just ignore that and always use whole milk and full fat cheeses when you can. Low-fat milk is not clean, it’s processed and remember that sugar makes you fat, not fat.
