I have 9 of the best Clean Eating einkorn flour recipes right here all in one place. Good Einkorn flour recipes are hard to find, especially if you want them to be Clean. Many of the einkorn flour recipes I found are not Clean, because they contain regular sugar. You won’t find those on here! You can’t just substitute other sweeteners straight across for sugar, so you can’t just change those recipes around. That’s why you need these tried and tested Clean Eating einkorn flour recipes. No substitutions needed and no trial and error needed with these Clean Eating Einkorn Flour Recipes.
I wrote an article about the benefits of Einkorn flour and if you would like to read it, you can find it through this link. THE BENEFITS OF EINKORN FLOUR. Einkorn flour acts somewhat like any wheat flour. The main difference is the amount of gluten in einkorn flour is less than what is in regular wheat flour. Because Einkorn flour has less gluten, the flour to water ratio is not the same. Einkorn flour needs more soaking time in the water and less kneading.
There are differences in opinion as to what sugars, if any, are actually considered Clean. Honey, maple syrup and coconut sugar definitely are – but some people seem to believe that raw organic cane sugar is also Clean. Their reasoning is that it may not be totally clean, but it is more so and less processed than the regular granulated refined sugar you find on the shelf of a regular grocery store. So they allow it in their diet. It’s your decision as to whether you include raw organic cane sugar in your diet. The ease of using it is certainly a consideration for some people.
Another note I would like to make is that when one of the recipes I have included below calls for dairy products – such as yogurt, cheese or milk – always try to use whole milk or full fat raw organic grass fed milk products when at all possible. These are the only dairy products that are considered Clean. I realize that in some states it is illegal to sell raw milk, or it is very difficult to find or so expensive you can’t afford it. Just do your best and use the most raw organic forms of dairy products you can find. You could also use alternative milks like almond milk, cashew milk or coconut milk. You can pretty much substitute them straight across since they are all liquids.

9 of the Best Clean Eating Einkorn Flour Recipes- No Need to Look Further
1. Yeast-Free, Quick Naan Bread – Clean Eating Recipes
EF – Spelt Flour – Oat Flour – Greek Yogurt
I really wanted a yeast-free version of naan bread so I experimented and it turned out way better than I expected. It worked really well with the whole grain flours I used. The biggest advantage to a yeast-free version is that it tastes about one third of the time to make because you don’t have to wait for it to rise. My family really loves it, I think yours will too.
2. Easy Fry Bread – Clean Eating Recipes
EF – Whole Milk
I love the navajo taco fry bread they have our local state fair but they fry it in so much oil that it’s really not healthy. I also don’t like the yeast in it because it makes me sick. I developed my own version that is yeast-free which means it is so much easier to make because I don’t have to wait for it to rise. When I fry it I don’t fill a pan with oil, I just just about half an inch in the bottom of the pan. It fries up just fine and the whole thing isn’t just sitting in the oil soaking it up. Try it you’ll like it!
3. Pita Recipe – Clean Eating Recipes
EF – Spelt Flour
My children think it’s so much fun when I make these. I like to watch them get all puffy and they like to put the food inside of the big hole. The simplest things make kids happy. I think that’s great! When I developed this recipe I tried several combinations of flour and found that I like the combination of einkorn and spelt the best. Bake them with the dry side down first because for some reason they are more bubbly. So after they rest flip them over before you bake them.
4. Baguette Recipe – Clean Eating Recipes
EF – Spelt Flour
If you want to impress your guests or family this is a good recipe to use. It’s also easy to make so it’s a win win situation. The combination of the spelt and einkorn works really well together. The spelt gives it a chewy texture plus it adds a lot of flavor. Follow my directions for making these with ice cubes in a hot dish in the over on the bottom rack and you’ll get a nice artisan bread feel. That method makes it have a crusty outside and a soft chewy inside. Remember than this will not rise as much as white flour so don’t be disappointed or think you did something wrong. It’s just a fact.
5. Easy Lemon Chicken – Clean Eating Recipes
I invented a method of breading the chicken right in the pan. It makes this so much easier to make plus I don’t have touch the raw chicken with my fingers. I use tongs to turn the chicken over. It’s much less messy plus it’s easier and faster. It’s quick enough that I can make it for a weeknight meal. You can use this method for pretty much any chicken that needs to be coated with flour before you brown it.
6. Homemade Hawaiian Haystacks – Clean Eating Recipes
My family ate these a lot growing up but it was made with cream of chicken soup and evaporated milk. They definitely are not clean eating. Since I really missed hawaiian haystacks I developed a clean eating version and I also invented a dairy-free version for my son. I eat them over brown rice and I use coconut milk. I think the coconut milk tastes really good and it gives them more of a hawaiian flavor. They are good with shredded coconut on top too.
7. Best Clean Eating Healthy Biscuits and Gravy Recipe – Clean Eating Recipes
Pork Sausage – Chili Flakes – Sage – Garlic Powder – Einkorn Flour – Milk – Clean Eating Biscuits Recipe Made with White Einkorn Flour
I love biscuits and gravy and this is my favorite recipe. They are good for breakfast or with veggies or salad on the side you could have a full meal for lunch or dinner. They are pretty easy to make. My grandma used to make these for dinner every once in awhile. Since we don’t get a big hot breakfast very often, I think it’s nice to make breakfast for dinner sometimes.
8. English Muffins – Natural Chow
EF – Pure Cane Sugar – Egg – Honey – Yeast
These homemade English muffins are actually pretty easy to make. They only have to rise one time. They are super nutritious and are hearty, chewy and really soft. They only have to rise for forty minutes so they can be ready to eat in less than ninety minutes. Most of that time is spent waiting for them to rise, not working away in the kitchen.
9. Cheddar Einkorn Crackers – The Wimpy Vegetarian
Parmesan Cheese – Cheddar Cheese – EF – Olive Oil
These are a homemade version of Cheez-Its or maybe gold fish crackers. They are made with Einkorn four, which I love by the way and two kinds of cheese. It is high in protein and is more nutritious than other regular wheat flours. I have to eat gluten-free but I can eat Einkorn flour just fine because it is an ancient grain and hasn’t been processed. That’s probably because I’m not officially allergic to gluten but I am gluten sensitive.
