These Clean Eating mashed sweet potatoes are quick to make and the Greek yogurt in them makes them extra creamy and healthy.

  1. Boil the sweet potatoes in a large pot of water until they can easily be pierced with a fork
  2. Drain the water from the potatoes
  3. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or a large fork
  4. Stir in the Greek yogurt and maple syrup
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve

More or less yogurt maybe used, depending on taste and desired consistency.

Sour cream or regular plain yogurt maybe substituted for the Greek yogurt.

The sweet potatoes maybe steamed if you are short on time, but boiling them will create a smoother consistency.

The maple syrup is optional. I don’t add extra sweetener, but many prefer the extra sweetness. Stevia or other natural sweetener maybe substituted.

Some like to add a pinch of salt as well – feel free to add it, if you feel they need it.
